Chris was 11 years old when his Dad bought the engine shop. At that time Chris started out sweeping floors and cleaning the machines where he learned about the machines and how they worked. He learned the entire business from his Dad and Mom too, who taught him to work hard, that you must earn everything you receive and that nothing is free including respect. By the time he was 14, Chris was tearing down engines and putting them in the hot tank for cleaning. At 16, Chris was doing head reconditioning as he learned all aspects of running a successful business. Over the years he was the business front man while his Dad chose a supporting background role.

In 1999, Chris and his family decided to move to Grand Junction for a change of pace from the Denver rush. He worked for Cummins for 6 years on the western Slope in Field Services where he worked on 2000-3000 Horse Power diesel engines. At Cummins he became an expert at troubleshooting and electronic diagnostics. He also learned what kind of dealer support a customer needs and will rely on.
 

In 2005 Chris decided it was time to follow his father’s footsteps and go into business for himself in Grand Junction-providing his expertise to this area. In the last 2 years Chris has applied his diesel know-how, skill and knowledge in troubleshooting, rebuilding and repairing any and all diesel engines from the smallest family diesel car to the largest mining industry equipment.
